Abstract
There are two classifications for moving recorded tracks on MiniDisc. l) Serial method is to move one track at a time. 2) Parallel method is to order all tracks as you like. Parallel method requires two procedures : one is to group several tunes and the other is to select a destination for the grouped tunes. A user test was conducted with a model to study operation habitual. The result indicated that the confusion was caused by the gap of the track numbers as new and old track positions are automatically renumbered. Confusion was also caused by different operations to be made depending on where the track is to be moved. Visualizing an invisible wall might solve these problems.
