At first we have to decide what kind of activity in the space especially what will be done on the moon. So, We discussed about purpose of the explorer on the moon with NASDA's (1)researcher. We decided two things. One was rover's purpose that was find out water around the pole area of the moon. The others was to decide the rover's type. Finally that type was like a earthworm. This erathworm-type rover is equipped with the former part of head which is used in making tunnel in construction work on the earth. 4 units of 2 caterpillars are attached in 4 sides of body (left and right, and upper and lower), outside units and inside units of which are moving toward same direction. As if earthworm moves forward, eating soils and generating dungs, this excavater has tube type ofbellows which can be easily extendable as earthworm moves inside of earth by its flexible body. This rover's study model is real size and moving.
