Abstract
The purpose of this study is to consider the definition of Environmental Graphics. Environmental Graphics was two-dimensional graphic element applied to volumetric objects, such as the surface of architecture. They ultimately offer the inhabitant a sense of a large world beyond the visible space. Such effects were what distinguished Environmental Graphics from other graphics. The name, Environmental Graphics, was made late in the 1970s. But since antiquity, there were many examples of them. Man had employed graphics in ritual make-up that transforms the human body and the face in order to project a different image. Through this study, we could find a possibility of creating new Environment. Environmental Graphics have left much influence not only on the emotion of Man but also on our living space.
