Abstract
As we enter 21st century, the ratio of single household is increasing every year at demographics data. The design that suits their needs, however, is not fully explored yet. The needs for new housing type, fit single household life-style, is ever increasing and the application of smart technologies will be indispensible as with current trends. Smart technology itself will be different, compared to multi-family household, and developed to only-one system. This study purpose the anticipation of change in single household housing type through the current change of life-style and comprehension of distinctiveness of single household, which is rapidly increasing and cause the social problems. Furthermore, the application of smart technologies for the user needs from the change of life-style in single household will be throughly explored.
