Abstract
After the magnetic recorder was invented by V. Pulsen of Denmark, which marked the starting point, AEG produced the world's first tape recorder, Magnetopon, in Germany. The tape recorder was brought back to the U.S.A. after World War _II_, and Ampex was established, Brush developed a tape recorder for household use on his own. As prototypes, these models exerted a strong influence on 30 tape recorder manufacturers and 39 brands in the U.S.A. during the three years from 1947.
