Abstract
The usability of the websites where the users' tasks are obvious such as electronic commerce can be improved in a relatively simple fashion through protocol analysis tests and so forth. However, it is difficult to ascertain the usability elements to be improved for the websites where the users' tasks are less obvious with mere curiosity as to "What does this place look like?" and the hierarchy structure is shallow such as community introductory websites. In order to clarify users' vague problem consciousness and disapproval, we had a qualitative approach focusing on group interviews. Based on this, improvement of the issues were implemented and, then again, the results were evaluated through group interviews and the protocol analysis in terms of both qualitative and quantum aspects. This is an actual improvement example of a website where user task is unclear.
