Abstract
Recently,the product development to use wood effectively is active. KIGAMI Ltd.developed KIGAMI that is a new modified wood.KIGAMI is a material that slice of Japanese cedar and Beech to 0.1mm thickness,and pliable processing. And it succeeded in the development of the KIORI which was made a thread-shaped and which was woven. It is a stage on which gropes for the usage of these materials though physical character,surface character,shading rate,and brightness,on each materials was examined.Based on this result,the wind treatment of the curtain type was designed,and made for trial purposes.The possibility of the application to the interior material of the KIGAMI and KIORI were suggested by those trial production.
