Research on the expression of the shadow for interactive contents

Abstract

In this research, it aimed to investigate non-physical expression of the shadow about the effect and the role of the technique to use it on interactive contents of the real world. Non-physical expression of the shadow was classified referring to the movie and animation. It is the installation works, made based on the classification result, and using the touch sensor. If the user touches the plant, the shadow of the projected image becomes various changes. I observed and verified that the user actually experienced the work in the exhibition.
