Abstract
Wood has a visual charactre such as grain and figure. As for the grain, the composition origanization which appeared in the vertical section, and an annual ring are arranged.And,figure is the gain which has decorative value. In this research, the sigt sensory evalution was done by SD method about grain and figure using as fittings materials. were specialists of grain and figure and University students. The result ofthe factor analysis, five factor was extracted and the difference was seen by the specialists of grain and figure and University students. Basing on this wesult, the proposal of the face pattern for the door by a new woody texture and composition will be the target in future.
