Abstract
Natural material that is used as fixings, are increased. Above all, the merits of real wood are recognized again.In this study, we clarify the effect that a state of wood when it is used for wall has on apparent size and a psychological image of space.In this report, we examine the effect that a direction and height of wood have on apparent space size through a model experiment.By this experiment, it was confirmed that optical illusion occurred in apparent space size by how to use wood. And it was clarified that height of wood had a stronger effect on apparent space size than a direction of it.In future, a sensory evaluation experiment will be performed under the stimulation condition same as this experiment. And we will clarify the effect that each condition has on a psychological image of space.
