Abstract
Eisuke Kashiwazaki (1910-1986) designed many things from japan ware in Okinawa Bembo to various kind of materials, but his accomplishments as an organizer of regional design efforts are equally significant. The best example of this is his founding of the Kyushu Craft Designer Association and acting as the first director of that association . He was the creator of the early stages of the Kyushu and Okinawa design industries. KCDA has now been in existence for 40 years. This is thanks to the fact that Eisuke Kashiwazaki was not only an outstanding designer, but also a fervent supporter of design education, as well as acting as an advisor for the Department Store, giving guidance and advice related to distribution and sales, which was also a major contributing factor.
