The wheelchair users need to know the information about barriers which hinder their free movement around town. The barrier-free map is one of the useful ways to know such information. After the law of barrier-free concerning the pedestrian area was enacted in Japan in May 2000, many barrier-free maps have become to be popular. However, it is necessary to survey a lot of points in a town to make this barrier-free map, and also it needs much time to write the survey data onto the map. Then, we used the cellular phone with the camera which has GPS (Global Positioning system) function as a data input terminal, and we could gather information of many barriers easily. And we examined a classification of these information.
