Abstract
We present a design method of smart clothing by utilizing the analogy of recent computing. The main contribution of our proposition is to perceive the clothing as modules which have input, process and output. This perception makes it possible to embed wearable computing technologies into garment efficiently and to present easy-to-understand conceptual model of usage about the new smart garment. We have developed prototypes, those are sense jacket and chameleon shawl, to estimate the efficiency of our method. These clothing can be cooperated each other to generate a unique fashion coordination.
