Abstract
Minoshima district is the area which the stores were mixed in with the residence located in the south from Hakata station about 1km.The vigor of the town declines in recent years because the people who come to the shopping street are decreasing.A social experiment is the policy of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure andTransport which aimed at the local revitalization.At Minoshima district, the plans because of the various local revitalization was carried out in the social experiment.This study is verification about validity of the design methods to the localrevitalization through the social experiment. All plans are based on the past result of a questionnaire and the opinion from the inhabitant by the workshop. As a result, it was suggested by this social experiment that an activated technique by the design methods based on the inhabitant needs was effective in the future town planning.
