Abstract
This article focuses on how to turn the Chinese characters into graphics, and explore the potential development in using them as graphics in graphic design. Belong to hieroglyphics, the Chinese characters have inseparable relationship with graphics. The aesthetic sensibility of each chirography and font is also determined by its graphic character. the abundant works using Chinese characters as graphics in traditional culture proves the feasibility and poteneial of chinese character graphics. finally, this article explores new ideas in presenting chinese characters with graphics in modern graphic design with the author's own practice.
