A Proposal of Flexible Sound Effect Interface based on Relationship between Formal and Sound Change

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to propose an intuitive interface to change sounds through the formal changes. First of all, it was tried extracted intuitive operation methods to change sounds. Subsequently, it was discussued the relationships between the formal and sound changes. As the result, these relationships were clarified by correspondence analysis and cluster analysis. Finally, it was proposed the interface to change sounds by extending, compressing, bendings and twisting.
