Abstract
This study was focused on user's observations and evaluated user interface designs for radiation dosimeters. We evaluated 5 different types and conducted experiments to find their problems. The experiments showed that a radiation dosimeters don’t indicate completion times, the present situation and required number of measurements with accuracy. These results indicated that people who are not used to using radiation dosimeters can’t complete the operation to manage dangerous situations. We discussed the need to radiation dosimeters that indicate usage instructions with easy access to the information about degree of risk. Through Experiments with different types, We will propose new radiation dosimeter.
