Abstract
This paper describes a value growth design, which is one way to embody timeaxis design. Timeaxis design is a new design paradigm, which introduces a time axis into a theory and methodology of design. In the value growth design, a value of an artifact appreciates with time. In this paper, the value growth design model is proposed based on results of clarification of the feature in a value growth. This model consists of five periods and it describes a value growth process. Moreover, viewpoints useful for the proposed value growth design are discussed.
