Abstract
Outdoor public lavatories, especially at the roadside or in the park, the user gets very delicate psychological than indoors. So, unique and attractive design as a building or high palatability interior design in general can consider as a possibility that they increase mental discomfort as excessive design. And, in recent years, municipal corporations cooperate with privately managed facilities to review proper placements of outdoor public lavatories. From the above, this study made a survey of the images and design elements that the user seeks for public lavatories, and consider the usefulness of them for the designer as design knowledge.
