Abstract
This study considers the possibility of museum goods using the regional resources for the purpose of local vitalization in Inujima, Okayama. Inujima is one of the islands in Okayama Prefecture, and the famous place as the origin of high-quality granite which has been used in the stone walls of Edo Castle and Osaka Castle since hundreds of years ago. Recently, Inujima has been attracting people's attention due to the art project "Seirenjo" which the Naoshima Fukutake Art Museum Foundation has been launched. We consider the museum goods to be used as local resources in a site-specific museum.
