Abstract
It is important for creative design to know the feelings evoked in people by the products. Focusing on glass material, in this study we conducted two experiments in order to understand the users’ feelings from this material. The first experiment evaluated the users’ impression of the glass material with various surface features. Conducted in a more natural environment, the second experiment evaluated of the impression in the situation where subject was performing touch-screen operations. As a result, it was confirmed that surface features have potential to evoke a wide range of impressions, and the impression was changed by circumstances even if the material was the same.
