Abstract
To promote the usage of IC cards at station convenience stores at the Tokyo metropolitan area, interviews, behavior observation research, and workshops were carried out and the improvement strategies were developed. Furthermore, these plans were applied to the actual stores, and the effect was measured. Finally, these plans enhanced the effectiveness of boosting the usage of IC cards. In this research, we could confirm not only findings to increase the usage of IC cards, but also basic findings to change the way of providing services there.
