Abstract
In this study, I report Research and development of bathtub in-home care for Children with Sever Motor and Intellectual Disabilities (SMID). I research on the hypothesis that development exclusive simple bathtub, which solve a problem of difficult bathing. The development process, that based on the service of clinical design engineer in Kitakyushu rehabilitation center for children with disabilities respond to the high individuality needs of children with SMID. Mention the results of the invented product three perspectives, Research result the children with SMID’s present issues and needs, manufacturing a trial product, user evaluation.
