Abstract
The reseach seeks to expiore possible approaches to forstering a `regionalism`in design activities,with the support of the inhabitants of Kakeyu Onsen at Ueda City. This aim is that inhabitants and us gig up the regional culture and history by repeat that discovery regional problems and solution it. 50 years ago, Kakeyu Onsen was hot springs that always bustling with a visitor to a hot spring resort, but a paying guest is now decreasing and regional union is difficult. The activities resulted in a change of regiolal activitiy by Inhabitants. They faced regional problems themself, and made new appeals in Kakeyu Onsen with us.
