Abstract
This paper describes a mechanism of Value GrowthDesign focusing on products, users, and their interaction. ValueGrowth Design is a design concept which describes an increase ofpractical and spiritual values through the use of a product, and itis achieved by Timeaxis Design. We clarify the types of thechange which occurred in the products over the time. In addition,we make a model which indicates how users feel values grow.Finally, we elucidate the effects of the user’s experiences with theproduct toward the growth of value by combining the effects onthe products and users given through the time.
