Generation of the evaluation method for face recognition accuracy in the office environment

Suggestion of evaluation index under the office environment that has various lighting conditions and users

Abstract

We developped a multifunction printer that has a face recognition function. But this product was the first multifunction printer with camera and face recognition function in the world, so we didn’t have any evaluation method for face recognition accuracy at that time. In this research we found the method that includes a decision process of evaluation conditions and quantitative evaluation index, especially under the office environment that has various lighting patterns and various user’s facial feature points.
