Abstract
The material which combined paper material with Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL)of a Japanese cedar and improved the design was made. In respect of designing. we have created some materials composed of paper and Japanese cedar LVL. and measured their strength in bend and compression. As the result of the experiment, it was found that the modulus of rupture was improved when the paper was put vertically towards the lamination face of Japanese cedar LVL. Based on these results. we devised two stools with different designs. applying this compound material as their seats and legs.
