Manufacturing Space FabLab Current Status and Possibilities

Abstract

In recent years, places called FabLab and FAB facilities have been formed as spaces where individuals can use digital machine tools globally, and Fab facilities are increasing in Japan as well. On the other hand, there were few customers who continuously use the Fab facility, and it was discovered through the interview that there are many facility scaled down. In this research, in order to think about the design of FabLab of the future, the purpose is to organize the current problems and to find a clue for solution.
