Method for Deriving Product Development Process based on Timeaxis Design

Abstract

This study proposes a new method to construct a medium- and long-term product development process by using the multi-time scale model: one of the fundamental theories of Timeaxis design. The proposed method can create a hierarchical directed graph by applying a pairwise comparison matrix of diversion degrees, which signifies the diversion relationship of the components between the functions, to Interpretive Structural Modeling.
