Abstract
The "Placemaking" is one of a concept for creating personal places and life in built environment. This study considers a concept of “Place-Based Components” for setting places and designing of special elements and frameworks of those places in public spaces. The concept is abstracted from a sense of security and a sense of livability and an aesthetic of landscape design with people to use in casual conditions of the Bryant Park. As conclusion, this article shows eight casual basic conceptual items of place components for people who start visioning and making places in their towns.
