Study on visual expression using metal rust

Abstract

When iron and copper are left in nature, rust develops on the surface. Generally, the negative image is strong from the viewpoint that rust gives bad influences to its appearance problems and machines. However, there is also the charm that rust changes its expression with the lapse of time, and it becomes a calm color that is different from the original color of the metal. Therefore, I aim to apply rust to graphic design, ezpress it attractively, and verify the novelty and usefulness of the method.
