Abstract
The Gordon method is a way to create many ideas by abstracting themes and group discussions. This research will examine how product names and action names abstracting product names changes before and after and how it influences an idea of an individual. Cluster analysis was performed on the data obtained from the experimental results, and the area of the figure connecting the average values of the clusters in the scatter diagram was assumed to be the divergence degree. This study shows that it is possible to confirm the effectiveness of changing the abstraction level of the design object.
