Abstract

Electrostatic flocking is the process of applying fibers directly on to a substrate by using electric charge. In this research, we focus on its texture and explore the possibility of the technology from the viewpoint of visual communication design. In addition, Onomatopoeia is used to describe the texture. This approach would help to make the flocking texture easier to imagine.
