Creating Practical Opportunities in Design Education

Design Creation Utilizing Supplementary Lessons and it’s Operation

Abstract

Due to the influence of COVID-19, specialized education in design has been reorganized and reviewed. In this report, apart from the reorganization of regular lessons, we will proceed with supplementary lessons across grades and report attempts to create opportunities for design practice outside the university. At “Kihon no Ki no kai”, we begin by recruiting students who wish to actively study and confirming their tolerance, and then gain experience in off-campus activities while experiencing various production activities and events. At the end of this report, we explained the three effects of these activities.
