Abstract
This is the second year study on housing policies for the elderly in a high-aged society. The first year study aimed to clarify what is desired in the daily lives of the elderly. Also it examined forerunners of housing supply (including services) and supply maintenance. The second year study introduced and discussed various researches, editorials as well as some examples abroad. The discussion helped us to examine what standard should be set up for planning and supplying housing in the society of the 21st century, that is a high-aged society. Then we studied what actions should be taken in determining most appropriate supply policies for the present.
