Abstract

A historical review of how "personal craftsmanship" as a hobby, not a survival activity, has lived on in history. PEST analysis of the environment surrounding contemporary "personal craftsmanship" will be conducted. The demise of the MAKER movement will be discussed, along with the challenges of a business based on Goods-Dominant Logic. We will then show how business can be conducted by utilizing "personal craftsmanship" and the possibilities of the Service-Dominant Logic.
