Abstract

It is said that it is difficult to separate garbage in China due to differences in lifestyles and environmental awareness among Chinese and Japanese residents. We will compare the differences in environmental consciousness between Chinese and Japanese, and examine factors that promote sorting behavior such as understanding, interest, participation, and burden of information recognition by garbage separation. As a result, it will be necessary to introduce a method for providing waste separation information in Japan, convey it using visual information media, and better understand the waste separation information.
