Abstract

In order to master the traditional Japanese wooden construction technique of Kiku-jutsu, it is necessary to understand the angles that occur when planes are combined three-dimensionally with a three-dimensional image of the angles. Therefore, it is not sufficient to simply provide mathematical proofs, nor is it sufficient to simply memorize the techniques without any logic. There is, however, a software application, GeoGebra, that can easily handle three-dimensional figures without the use of 3D CAD. In this paper, we propose a learning method using GeoGebra, which can be helpful in understanding mathematics.
