Abstract

As for the value that products and services create for us, it is important to be able to find personal meaning in the experience itself, rather than having functions and utility. Regarding qualitative research in service design education, I experimented with a framework for segmenting and analyzing the facts, and a method of interpreting it by replacing it with other media such as stories and illustrations. The learners realized the importance of finding meaning that they can sympathize with, rather than logical understanding, in knowing the context of life.
