Abstract

The practice of the Acting Out technique has the drawback of embarrassment. Feelings of embarrassment, which are better suited to actual practice, inhibit expression and reduce the sense of immersion in the prepared scenario. In this study, we predict that there is a level of concreteness that is suitable for the "role-playing" in the Acting Out technique, and we discuss how participants' embarrassment affects their practice when practicing Acting Out or puppet shows.
