The Potential of Integration of Qualitative Research and Visualization towards the Development of Co-creation Tools

Abstract

This study proposes a novel human-centered design approach that combines Qualitative Analysis with UX maps. Through a case study of Shinjuku station users, we demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach in uncovering latent user needs and developing innovative solutions. The integration of qualitative research and visualization enables a deep understanding of users and effective utilization of insights in the design process, opening new possibilities for human-centered design.
