Toward the Creation of Supports and Tools Surrounding Children with Color Vision Characteristics.

Abstract

We focus on differences in color vision and consider color vision conditions that differ from the majority of color vision considered normal to be "color vision characteristics" rather than abnormalities. In this study, we organized the color vision characteristics of children and investigated the history of color vision, changes in education and consideration by schoolteachers and eye care institutions, the state of testing, and current systems and support tools.We aim to help by identifying what is needed to support children with color vision characteristics, their parents, and the teachers who connect them both.
