Custom made design for the bicycle frame to fit human body and motion

Abstract

In this research, we are pursuing custom designing and manufacturing bicycle frames based on musculoskeletal simulation with a sand mold 3D printer. We have focused on digitization design method, like studies for custom design system for running shoes based on a 3D digital human foot model generated from images taken with a smartphone., and we have also utilized the sand mold 3D printer for the metal industry. We aim to create a product design method for the future smart society.
