Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of a gamified approach in improving young people's comprehension of hypertension and related lifestyle habits. A game simulating daily life scenario was developed, where players' choices impacted their in-game blood pressure, KIMOCHI, and other states. The experiment demonstrated that the game enhanced participants' understanding of hypertension. However, no significant improvement was observed regarding participants' focus on lifestyle habits. This might be attributed to the limitations of short-term interventions in influencing long-term behavioral change.
