This study explores the potential of "design givers" in Yokohama's Kannai area, conducting design activities without specific requests. The author visited individual stores, conversed with owners and staff, and gifted them with illustrations drawn during the interactions. Over the period from August to December 2023, seven stores were visited, spanning various businesses. The concept of "design giver" was proposed to signify individuals who create and offer without being asked, aiming to foster new relationships and spaces. It emphasizes the importance of proactive contribution and suggests potential contributions to forming new relationships.
