Abstract

In recent years, various initiatives have been undertaken across different regions to reevaluate and utilize historical resources such as buildings, landscapes, figures, and cultures for community revitalization. These efforts not only serve as means of reaffirming attachment and pride within the community but also provide opportunities for people from outside the region to visit, initiating new interactions with locals. Additionally, with the recent development of bicycle paths and increased installation locations for rental cycles in Fujisawa City, this study proposes organizing routes based on a survey of "public art" locations and designs, aiming to propose effective utilization of public art in Fujisawa City. However, among the 56 public art installations, some are obscured by tree shade or appear dirty. To promote local development, tailored cycling and walking routes are suggested, emphasizing the importance of maintaining these resources. Going forward, creating easily accessible course maps for residents to explore the city's 56 captivating artworks will be crucial.
