Research on Satoyama conservation activities for regional revitalization through resident participation

Abstract

In this study, the Chigasaki Satoyama Park Club, which is engaged in community-participating conservation activities at Chigasaki Satoyama Park located in the northern part of Chigasaki City, was used as an example. The significance of Satoyama conservation activities by local residents and the relationship between regional revitalization were summarized, and the tasks of various activities were extracted. As a result, it was found that members with various purposes participated in the activities. It has become clear that it not only serves as a conservation work, but also serves as a venue for exchanges between residents, and contributes to revitalizing the community.
