Abstract

The rural areas in Northeast China are constrained by economic backwardness, a significant loss of labor force, severe aging, and regional economic stagnation, which all hinder the development of rural areas. Through the author's on-site research, it was found that a large number of rural houses and land in Northeast China are idle due to low birth rates and population loss. According to research on urban population, there are many people who aspire to rural life, but they do not have a good rural environment for tourism or living. Therefore, the author addresses the contradiction between "there are many idle resources in rural areas that are not utilized" and "urban populations want to go to rural areas but have nowhere to go", and plans and designs for the reuse of idle resources in rural areas. Propose feasible models and plans for rural experiences, tourism, etc. that can meet the needs of different target groups (such as energetic elderly, office workers, children's families), in order to attract tourists to the countryside for consumption, achieve the development goals of regional and rural revitalization.
