Abstract
This study developed a scale to measure design attitude, defined as an intentional commitment to generate meaningful differences. Based on prior literature, an 18-item self-report scale was constructed comprising three dimensions: Creativity, Refinement, and Integration. A survey of 373 participants was conducted, and exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses supported the three-factor structure with acceptable fit. All subscales showed high reliability and adequate convergent and discriminant validity. This scale offers a foundation for future research on design-oriented thinking and behavior.
