This study proposes a design to enhance public awareness of aluminum through a collaborative project with UACJ Corporation. Analysis of about 80 awareness cases indicated that narrativity and entertainment attract user interest and highlight the value of experiential communication. Focusing on aluminum’s high thermal conductivity, the study proposes “Sayu-tanpo”, a resealable aluminum can containing hot water that allows users to experience warmth and intuitively understand the material’s properties. An initial survey suggested generally positive responses, although further validation is required.
